Will Irish Offer Affect 3-Star LB Brian Asamoah's Plans?

Linebacker Brian Asamoah recently announced his final list of six schools, and stated he would be making his commitment April 21. Does a recent offer from Notre Dame change those plans?

Two weeks ago, three-star linebacker Brian Asamoah announced he would be making his college choice on April 21, and he had cut his list of schools to a working number of six.

Schools that remain in contention for the Columbus (OH) DeSales product are CincinnatiMichiganPenn StatePittsburghUCLA  and West Virginia

Last week, Asamoah learned he had received an offer from Notre Dame, a team he had previously shown interest in. Does the Irish offer affect his plans going forward?

"This offer really means a lot to me," Asamoah admitted. "I will have to get with my support system to discuss whether my top-six needs to be reworked."

"As of right now, April 21 remains my date to make my commitment," he added.

Scout will continue to follow Asamoah's recruitment, and will report any changes to his status.
