There are plenty of quality defensive tackles in the Midwest for the class of 2018, and Lakota (OH) West's Tyler Bentley is one of the more impressive prospects.
A three-star recruit, Bentley is closing in on 20 offers and more could be headed his way in the near future. He has five schools sticking out to him at this time.
"I would say my top-five right now are Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, Wisconsin and West Virginia," he explained. "Tennessee and Wisconsin are recent offers. The Tennessee offer was a great offer, because they are a powerhouse program. They're always battling Alabama, and they always have great players. I'm very interested in Tennessee."
"With Wisconsin, that is also another huge offer to me," he added. "They're one of the powers of the Big Ten, and they can play with anyone in America. It's a great school and I want to visit there either this spring or summer, and I'm definitely interested in Wisconsin."
Bentley is doing his homework on all the schools that have offered, and he has taken several unofficial visits to date. He visited Ohio State last weekend, although the Buckeyes have not offered.
"Ohio State was great and I all the coaches and the way they get after it," Bentley admitted. "They want me to come back for camp in June, and we will see about an offer then."
