The Top Sleeper Prospects Who Performed at The Opening Dallas

FRISCO, Texas -- Factoring in testing, performance in the drills and in the one-on-ones Scout examines the top sleepers at The Opening regional camp stop in the Dallas area on Sunday.

DE Trumane Bell II - Lake Highlands (Texas)

Trumane Bell could be in for an active spring on the recruiting trail after the 2018 edge defender tested very well at The Opening Dallas. He measured 6-foot-2, 227 pounds with a 4.82 40, 4.36 shuttle, and 36-inch vertical to finish with a Nike Football Rating of 110+. - Gabe Brooks

WR Danny Gray - Dallas (Texas) James Madison

This is a prospect with an interesting story  as it relates to his recruitment, but the talent that you want in a top-flight receivers is all there. he has plus size, runs tremendous routes, and might have had the best hands of any receiver at the camp and was up there as one of the top overall performers regardless of position. - Greg Powers

Stanley Lambert - San Antonio (Texas) John Marshall

A massive defender who checked in at 6-foot-3, 211 pounds, but lined up and even spent some time in press coverage playing cornerback. He finished with the No. 23 overall Nike+ football rating with a 107.55. He only has one P5 offer on the table at this point from Purdue in the Big 10 Conference. - Greg Powers

DT Terry Hampton - El Dorado (Ark.)

The state of Arkansas had some quality prospects at Sunday's event and El Dorado High's Terry Hampton was one of them. Hampton's strong performance in the D-line group earned him a coveted spot in the Final Five matchups at camp's end. Hampton is strong in hand-to-hand combat and fits an even-front tackle spot.  - Gabe Brooks

WR Malik Jackson - Lufkin (Texas)

Lufkin is no stranger to producing top talent and Jackson has an elite skill set as a slot wide receiver. He got open often and was running some of the best routes out there. Keep an eye on his offer list as further evaluation of his highlight tape shows a player who can perform in the pads as well.  - Greg Powers

DE Marcus Mosley - Duncanville (Texas)

One of the top sleeper prospects at The Opening Dallas was edge rusher Marcus Mosley from Duncanville High south of Dallas. Mosley earned D-line MVP in a group that featured a lot of talent. He won 1-on-1 reps against big-name offensive tackle prospects and repeatedly showed athleticism and burst off the edge. He's possibly a 4-3 weak-side end or odd-front hybrid outside linebacker in college.  - Gabe Brooks

Christian Morgan - Porter (Texas)

Morgan was the testing champion at the event finishing with a 127.41 overall Nike+ Football Rating that was highlighted by a 41'4 vertical jump. He will probably have the best offer list in this report, but he could still be on the precipice now of an offer run from some major P5 programs. - Greg Powers

Israel Mukuamu - Bossier City (La.) Parkway

You usually do not see guys with his length and size as good in coverage as he was at times during the event on Sunday. He was turning heads. Coming in from Louisiana Mukuamu made his presence felt. It was not a surprise to see that he does have one SEC offer from South Carolina, but look for him to be gaining more traction throughout the spring evaluation period. - Greg Powers

LB Kebreyun Page - Cedar Hill (Texas)

http://www.scout.com/player/215775-kebreyun-page

Kebreyun Page is an athletic outside linebacker prospect to watch from Texas 6A juggernaut Cedar Hill. He's similar to Vanderbilt signee and Cedar Hill product Dimitri Moore in his build: 6-foot-3, 192 pounds with very long arms and a ton of space to add bulk. Page earned a triple-digit Nike Football Rating with a 4.75 40 and lightning quick 4.09 shuttle.  - Gabe Brooks

WR Jaylon Robinson - Fort Worth (Texas) Paschal

Some may say it is a stretch to call a Texas Tech commitment as a sleeper, but heading into the event Robinson was rated as a two-star on Scout because we had never seen him before and it is obvious that ranking is a mistake. Robinson is blistering fast and was a mismatch problem for defensive backs. - Greg Powers

WR Jonathan Shepherd - Kilgore (Texas)

Jonathan Shepherd is an East Texas sleeper with all the measurables you want in a big outside receiver prospect. Shepherd is 6-foot-4 and almost 200 pounds and has been laser-timed at 4.64 and 4.58. He comes from a family of athletes and should definitely be an FBS target soon.  - Gabe Brooks

WR Kassidy Woods - Dallas (Texas) Greenhill School

Not many buzzing about Woods' performance and it is hard to understand why. He showed some of the best hands at the event and made what may have been the best catch of the day in the one-on-one portion of the event. He has a couple of offers already, but with his size and hands he should have more. - Greg Powers
