The above video features 1-on-1 reps of 2018 Scout 300 four-star defensive end Ron Tatum from Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City at this past weekend's The Opening Dallas regional camp.
Tatum picked up three offers Wednesday from LSU, Mississippi, and Louisville. Those programs join about a dozen other offers, including Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Texas, among a few others.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder performed well at The Opening Dallas, where he won the majority of his 1-on-1 reps, including matchups with heavily-recruited offensive linemen such as Darrell Simpson and Trey Stratford.
Tatum possesses a big frame and the potential to play in multiple schemes, such as a strong-side end in a four-man front or an end in a traditional 3-4 scheme. Tatum combines outstanding frame potential with quick, violent hands and the ability to make a difference against the run and the pass.
