Video Clips of 4-Star Defensive End Cameron Latu at The Opening Dallas

FRISCO, Texas -- Scout features 1-on-1 footage of 2018 four-star defensive end Cameron Latu at this past weekend's The Opening Dallas regional camp.

Thanks to a dominant performance in position drills and 1-on-1's, plus testing numbers that went through the roof, 2018 four-star defensive end Cameron Latu earned an invitation to The Opening Finals in July in Oregon this past Sunday at The Opening Dallas regional camp.

The above video features footage of Latu's strong efforts at that event.

Latu measured an impressive 6-foot-5, 236 pounds and ran a laser-timed 4.82 40 and impressive 4.39 shuttle. He also recorded a 36.8-inch vertical leap and 45 1/2-foot powerball toss for a Nike Football Rating of 120.69, the third-highest of the more than 400 participants.

The ex-BYU pledge holds offers from programs such as AlabamaUSCWashingtonUtah, and Notre Dame, in addition to plenty of others.

In 1-on-1's against some of the camp's top offensive linemen, including five-star Oklahoma pledge Brey Walker, Latu stood out. He flashed a fast get-off and quick hands that combined with his wingspan to give offensive linemen fits. He earned his spot in the Final Five linemen matchups at camp's end with his consistent performance throughout the day.
