Five-star offensive tackle and Oklahoma pledge Brey Walker earned a berth in the Final Five linemen matchups at Sunday's The Opening Dallas regional camp thanks to his solid performance throughout the day in position work and 1-on-1's.
Walker, who plays for Southmoore High School, was 1 of 2 offensive line prospects from the state of Oklahoma who made the Final Five, joining Bixby High standout Bryce Bray. Thanks to Walker's efforts Sunday, he also earned an invitation to The Opening Finals in July in Oregon.
Scout ranks Walker as the No. 1 prospect in the Midlands Region, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. He's also the No. 1 offensive tackle nationally for the 2018 class.
Scout national analyst Greg Powers had this to say about Walker from Sunday's event:
Perhaps the most physically-imposing prospect on either side of the ball at the entire camp, five-star offensive tackle Brey Walker performed well during position work and earned a spot in the "Final Five" 1-on-1 matchups at camp's end. Walker has a ton of upside because of his massive frame. He's already a mauler in the running game and has plenty of developmental potential in pass protection.
