Video Clips of Talented 2019 Defensive Lineman Jayden Jernigan at The Opening Dallas

FRISCO, Texas -- Scout features video footage of Jayden Jernigan, one of the top 2019 defensive lineman in Texas, at this past weekend's The Opening Dallas regional camp.

At Sunday's The Opening Dallas regional camp, only one player of the 10 who earned spots in the "Final Five" linemen matchups at event's end was not a 2018 prospect: Jayden Jernigan.

The 6-foot-2, 262-pound Jernigan started as only a sophomore for the state of Texas' largest high school, national power Allen just north of Dallas. Jernigan faces strong competition in practice and games, and that showed at Sunday's camp, where he proved his ability against some outstanding competition.

Texas Tech offered Jernigan after he unofficially visited Jernigan mid-week. The Red Raiders joined Iowa State and SMU on Jernigan's early offer list.

Below is a quick breakdown of what Jernigan showed at The Opening Dallas:

Jayden Jernigan was the only 2019 prospect to make the Final Five linemen matchups. The young defensive lineman is potentially position-versatile depending on scheme and has proven himself early in his high school career by earning heavy snaps for national power Allen. Jernigan played Sunday with quick hands and great initial burst. He will be heavily-recruited during the next two years.
