With offers pouring in daily and the number now closing in on 30, it's safe to say Cincinnati La Salle four-star tight end Josh Whyle is a hot commodity in the recruiting world.
Most of his offers have come to him in the past six weeks as college coaches are seeing his excellent ball skills and size on film. One of his more recent offers is from Wisconsin.
"The Wisconsin offer is huge to me, just from what their coaches have told me about the school," Whyle stated. "I hear the campus is second to none, not to mention the style of football that is played there."
"This offer means a lot, because Wisconsin is a big-time Big Ten team and being able to play at that level has always been my dream and it's finally becoming reality," he added. "I plan on visiting there, and I don't know that I would have visited there without an offer."
"Now that I know they really want me, I've already been working on that to fit them in to my list of schools to visit," he continued. "I don't know much about Wisconsin, but I'm very interested after talking to Coach (Mickey) Turner about their program."
Scout will continue to track Whyle going forward, and will report any new offers or visits he might take.
