3-Star WR Keaton Upshaw One To Watch In Ohio

It's hard to miss 6-foot-7 wideout Keaton Upshaw on the field, and college coaches have taken notice of the Lima (OH) athlete. Upshaw holds four offers.

A quick glance at the film of 6-foot-7 wide receiver Keaton Upshaw reveals much more than a tall wideout that simply uses his height to out-leap defenders, as this is one complete football player.

Upshaw, who could also project to tight end at the college level, has hit the recruiting radar in the past few months and now holds four offers.

"I have offers from PittsburghWest VirginiaBowling Green and Toledo," Upshaw stated. "I would say of those schools the one that's sticking out to me would be Pitt. I've been there before and will be back there next week. I really like the facilities and the coaching staff."

"West Virginia is a place I'm going to visit next week as well, and I'm looking to learn more about the program," he added. "I think I can really fit in well to their offense, and they see me as a tight end. I'm also hearing from PurdueCincinnatiLouisville and Duke."

"I will be visiting Cincinnati in two weeks, then Purdue on April 1," he continued. "I'm excited to see Cincinnati, and they're really recruiting Ohio kids hard. I'm looking forward to meeting the new Purdue staff also."

Upshaw is listed as a three-star wide receiver, and is one of the top prospect in Ohio for 2018. His versatlity is an added bonus for colleges.

"I think I could play either wide receiver or tight end in college," he explained. "I'm a tough, physical player that can do a lot of things on the field. I can block and also make plays on the ball."

"Right now, I'm working on getting stronger and faster," he said.
