Calabasas (Calif.) defensive tackle Mykee Irving (6-2.5, 305) is preparing for a big spring, all set at his new school.
After making the move to Calabasas from West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade, a loaded Coyote squad should bring a number of college coaches through the campus.
Irving has one offer, from UCLA, which he got last summer at the Bruin Elite Camp.
"UCLA is my only offer right now but they're my top school," said Irving. "Angus (McClure) is recruiting me there. I went up to campus and took an unofficial visit and loved it there. The new facilities are going to be awesome."
Irving was offered by the Bruins as a defensive tackle, but some schools like him to play on offense.
Irving isn't opposed to playing offense.
"I'd play anything that gets me on the field as soon as possible, but I could fall in love with offensive line," said Irving.
"I think we're going to go visit Tennessee, Louisville, LSU, Oregon State and Colorado," said Irving.
Irving said he will graduate in December and be on a college campus in January.
