Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis four-star defensive tackle Faatui Tuitele traveled to the mainland to compete at The Opening Los Angeles and managed to crack the Final Five linemen competition.

While in town for the event, the promising 2019 prospect was also able to stop by USC and UCLA, telling Scout.com that he thoroughly enjoyed both visits. With the Trojans, Tuitele said the Polynesian connection they're re-establishing there was an eye opener. With the Bruins, it was the conversations with assistant coach Angus McClure that stood out. Washington is another program that Tuitele has high interest in and hopes to visit at some point this year.
