Olaijah Griffin is easily among the top athletes out West and one of the nation's top cover corners.
He has been battling a banged up shoulder this off-season and it forced him to sit out a portion of the Opening Regional Camp in L.A over the weekend. He looked very good in the position drills but missed much of the one on ones before making it back out for the half-skelly period.
Griffin still was able to land an invite to The Opening Finals, which he said was a big goal of his prior to the camp. He's a very talented player on both sides of the ball but projects as a lock down cover man in college.
On the recruiting front, Griffin recently visited USC and the Trojans look to be in a good spot right now. A few other schools making a push include the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Oklahoma Sooners, Oregon Ducks and TCU Horned Frogs.
