Four-Star OL Steven Jones Has ASU, Colorado, Oregon, UCLA and Washington on His Short List

Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral offensive lineman Steven Jones has seen his stock soar this off-season and is blown past the double digit offer mark.

Steven Jones is a massive tackle prospect who could end up as a guard as well at the next level as well.

He weighed in at 6-5, 348 pounds at the Opening Regional Camp Sunday but moves well for a big man. We wouldn't mind seeing him play closer to 330 pounds or so, especially if he wants to stay at tackle in college but he offers some nice positional versatility and there is some definite upside to him.

On the recruiting front, Jones is up to 14 offers after landing one from UCLA on an unofficial visit following the Camp Sunday. He said the schools he's talking with the most are the Arizona State Sun DevilsColorado BuffaloesOregon DucksTCU Horned Frogs and Washington Huskies.

He has already visited the Huskies twice and will check out Oregon later this Spring. ASU could get a visit later this Spring and Oregon State is a possibility as well.
