Four-Star LB Bo Calvert Remains Solid With USC, Could Take Spring/Summer Visits

Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian linebacker Bo Calvert is a longtime USC commit but could take a few unofficial and official visits down the road.

Bo Calvert is an intriguing linebacker prospect with the potential to play multiple positions at the next level.

He worked out with the linebackers at the Opening Regional Camp in L.A Sunday and had a strong showing. In total, five 'backers received invites to The Opening Finals Sunday and in talking with the lead Nike LB coach, Calvert just missed the cut and remains high on their board moving forward.

At 6-4, 210 pounds, Calvert tested extremely well, finishing with the 7th best Nike Rating in the camp. He ran a 4.68-40 in what was a very slow day overall for 40 times, 4.26 shuttle and threw the powerball 40'. We always liked his potential to grow in to a defensive end but he showed the athleticism to play as an outside 'backer in any system as well.

Calvert's commitment to USC remains strong but he did say he would like to take a few trips over the spring and summer. Schools still talking with Calvert include the California Golden BearsFlorida State SeminolesNebraska CornhuskersOregon Ducks,  Stanford Cardinal and Utah Utes.
