Chino (Calif.) Don Lugo athlete Khoury Bethley (5-10, 195) has two offers in the early going.
Both New Mexico and Howard have offered the three-star and he's hopeful that more find their way to him.
"The two offers are a huge blessing and a huge weight off my shoulders," said Bethley. "And I'm hearing from a lot more schools now."
Bethley said several schools from the West have been showing interest.
Bethley had a chance to check out USC recently and enjoyed his trip to campus.
"I talked with the new running backs coach, Coach (Deland) McCullough and he said he wanted me to attend their Rising Stars Camp so I'll go to that and I'll be up there in spring again too," said Bethley.
Bethley said he's able to play a number of positions and coaches see him in a number of spots.
"I'm hearing safety, outside linebacker and running back," said Bethley. "But I'll play whatever the school wants me to do."
Bethley doesn't want to end his recruitment early.
"I'm going to take my time and go through the process before committing anywhere," said Bethley.
