Three-Star RB Andrew Van Buren Talks Boise State, Colorado, Nevada and UCLA Interest

West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade running back Andrew Van Buren is among the top athletes in the region and has seen his recruitment pick up nicely in the last few months.

Andrew Van Buren is big, power back who can get downhill and run between the tackles.

He worked out exclusively at running back at the recent Nike Opening Regional Camp but shows up very well on film as a safety and could play on either side of the ball in college. He's a tough, physical player who catches the ball well out of the backfield and does a little of everything well.

On the recruiting front, Van Buren is up to seven total offers and said Boise State and Nevada are on him hardest right now. UCLA is his most recent offer and Van Buren said he’ll check out the Bruins during Spring Ball.

The athlete plans to take his official visits in the fall and said the Broncos and the Colorado Buffaloes are two schools he knows he’ll check out.
