A look at the film shows Columbus DeSales defensive tackle Rodas Johnson to be one of the top 2019 prospects in the Midwest, and he is coming off an impressive sophomore season.
Johnson, who played last year at Olentangy, started the year as an offensive lineman before making the switch to the other side of the football halfway through the year.
"I had a good year last year, and I played both sides of the football," Johnson said. "Toward the end of the year they moved me to defensive tackle, and that's where I'm being recruited."
"As a defensive tackle, I like contact and tend to read plays very well," he added. "I use my hands well and pursue plays well, but I can get better creating separation and being in better condition."
College coaches have noticed his combination of speed and power, and he currently holds four offers.
"I have been offered by Cincinnati, Bowling Green and Eastern Kentucky," he explained. "I would say I like Cincinnati because the new coaching staff is really great. It's also a great school academically."
