One of the top 2018 linebacker prospects in the state of Ohio is Cincinnati Colerain's Dan Bolden, and while he is known as a physical player, he also has the speed to run sideline to sideline.
"I have offers from Cincinnati, Toledo, Ball State, Iowa State and Florida Atlantic," Bolden stated. "I like all of these schools, but I do like the idea of staying home at Cincinnati. The program is being turned around, and it's close to home."
"Coach (Luke) Fickell is someone who recruited my older brother (Joe Bolden), so I think he's going to do great for UC," he added. "I'm looking forward to developing that relationship even further."
"I'm also hearing from Indiana, Virginia Tech, Stanford, West Virginia and Kentucky," he continued. "I will be visiting Iowa State over spring break, and I want to get to FAU. I'm also going to Cincinnati's spring game."
Coming off a strong junior season, Bolden is looking forward to finishing his final year at Colerain in style.
"I had a good season last year and I thought I played well," he explained. "I thought I filled gaps well and I love the contact. I try to do whatever my team needs from me to come out with a win."
"As for making a commitment, it sounds good to do it before my senior season and just concentrate on playing my senior year," Bolden noted. "I'm going to make the commitment when I know it's right."
