Several top recruits attended junior day at West Virginia this past weekend, including one of Ohio's top skill athletes, Keaton Upshaw. The three-star prospect could play either tight end or wide receiver at the next level.
Upshaw holds four offers at this time, including one from the Mountaineers. He recently listed Pittsburgh as his top school, but did this trip change things in that regard?
"The visit to West Virginia went real well, and it impressed me a lot with their program," Upshaw stated. "The coaches were telling me how much they really want me there."
"They said I'm the type of player they need in the offense they run, and they love the things I can do," he added. "I will be back there again to visit, but nothing is planned yet."
"Hopefully, I will be able to get back there soon," he continued. "After leaving there, I can say that West Virginia is right there at the top for me, along with Pittsburgh."
Scout will continue to chart Upshaw's recruitment, and will report any changes to his status, including visits or new offers.
