Thomas already had an offer from the Sun Devils but the Wildcats joined the mix at the top of the week.
"I really enjoyed the visit to Arizona," said Thomas. "They have a great atmosphere around their program and they gave us a nice tour of the campus."
He followed it with a trip to Tempe to check out the Sun Devils.
"At ASU, I really got to reconnect with my man, Coach (Rob) Likens and get a better in-depth look at ASU. I got to see how everything is going over there and the new facilities they're building over there. I'm planning to take another visit to ASU in the near future."
Thomas has plans to get up to the Northwest this spring.
Thomas said two of those are high on his list.
"Of my offers, Arizona State is standing out a lot and Washington State and Oregon State are up there too," said Thomas.
Thomas also has high interest in the two Los Angeles schools.
Earlier this month, he took an unofficial visit to UCLA.
"I visited UCLA (in early March) and met with Coach (Jimmie) Dougherty," said Thomas. "He's a pretty cool guy and he said an offer could come soon. There wasn't a true time frame but the near future it could come. I got to check out their new facilities they're building and it's going to be beautiful and intrigues me."
Thomas is also hoping to check out USC this spring.
"I definitely want to get over there and meet with the coaches during their spring practice and check out a practice too," said Thomas.
A decision won't be coming any time soon.
"I will go through the process and do the official visits and see the campuses of the schools I'm most serious about," said Thomas.
