OT Nolan Eike talks upcoming visits

Batavia (Ill.) offensive tackle Nolan Eike talks about the offers he has, visits he is set to take and more.

Nolan Eike is a 6-foot-6 offensive tackle in Illinois who holds several scholarship offers currently. He has three from the MAC -- Bowling GreenEastern Michigan and Central Michigan along with a handful of FCS offers and Ivy League offers.

"It was really exciting to receive my first few offers because of my hard work and colleges seeing the potential in my abilities," he said. "I have visited four out of the seven schools that have offered me scholarships so far."

Eike made huge strides between his sophomore and junior seasons, adding over 60 pounds and growing two inches. He hopes to continue his improvement and in doing so, continue drawingthe interest of schools. He has several unofficial visits coming up.

"Within the next month, I am planning on visiting Southern Illinois, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Ball State and Western Illinois."

Outside of those programs who have offered, Eike says he has received interest from IllinoisNorth Dakota StateColorado StateNorthern Illinois, Princeton, and Harvard.

Coaches want to see Eike work out this summer, but he is still not certain which camps he will do yet. 

"I am definitely going to attend some summer camps, but at this point in time I have not made any decisions as I want to complete my unofficial visits first."
