Memphis (Tenn.) Harding Academy offensive tackle Will Lawrence holds nearly 30 scholarship offers and spoke with Scout about the latest developments in his recruitment.

Will Lawrence's recruitment continues to pick up steam.

Although he has offers from across the country, the 6-foot-4, 277-pound Lawrence is taking his time with the recruiting process.

"I'm still thinking and considering all my options," Lawrence said. "They're all recruiting me pretty hard, but I've been in contact with MichiganTCUBaylor and Vanderbilt the most."

Lawrence gave a quick thought on each school.

Michigan: "They're a big-time program." Lawrence said. "They're also known for their strong academics and they have great tradition."

TCU: "I really like the state of Texas and their offensive line coach Chris Thomeson. They're also another well-known program."

Baylor: "I really like coach (Matt) Rhule a lot and like I said, I like Texas. And I just think it's a really good program."

Vanderbilt: "It's very close home, which is something I like. I also really like the city of Nashville and the coaching staff."

His most recent visit was to Baylor.

"It was really cool," Lawrence said. "My favorite part of the trip was seeing the new stadium and I really liked the atmosphere at Baylor.

"I was able to speak to (offensive line) coach (George) DeLeone. We talked about the program and academics. I'll absolutely visit again."

Lawrence plans to visit Vanderbilt in the near future.

He does not have a timeline for his decision.
