"(Running backs) coach (Stu) Holt and I have a strong relationship. We talk about things other than football and laugh a lot. He's also straight up with me about everything and has told me about all the success the program has had through the years."

Along with the Mountaineers, CharlotteEast Carolina, Coastal Carolina and Georgia Southern have offered, while LouisvilleKentucky, Florida and Florida State are showing interest.

His next visit will be to Louisville in a few weeks.

"I like their style of play," Galloway-Velazquez said. "It's very similar to what we do at my high school. They've also had a lot of success and have a lot of playmakers. I'm excited to see the campus and facilities. I also want to see the environment and get a feel for the school.

"(Wide receivers) coach (Lonnie) Galloway is recruiting me and I'm looking forward to developing a relationship with him. Hopefully, we will get to talk when I visit."

As for other visits, he plans to go to East Carolina, Kentucky and Virginia Tech in the near future.
