Mykael Wright is one of the more promising underclassmen in the West region.
Wright is a two-way standout who could play wide receiver or corner in college. As a sophomore, he had seven interceptions on defense and caught 31 balls for 669 yards and eight touchdowns at receiver.
He shows up very well on film and shows incredible body control and ball skills. He shows explosive playmaking skills at receiver with the ability to make the big play after the catch and also projects as a potential lock down cover corner as well. It will be fun to watch Wright develop over the next two years and his upside is very high.
On the recruiting front, UCLA was first out of the gate with an offer and Wright is also hearing from Utah. Look for that list to really blow up this coming Spring as more schools have a chance to come and check him out on campus.
