The above video features clips of 2018 quarterback Justin Rogers from Bossier City (La.) Parkway at this past weekend's The Opening New Orleans regional camp at Joe Brown Memorial Park.
Rogers measured 6-foot-4, 198 pounds and tested well as he ran a laser-timed 4.76 40 and a 4.39 shuttle. He also registered a vertical of 36 inches.
The top quarterback prospect in Louisiana's 2018 class, Rogers told Scout that TCU continues to lead for him. LSU and North Carolina also stand out to the talented signal caller, who picked up a Texas offer Thursday afternoon. Rogers visited Texas in late February.
Rogers enjoyed a great junior season this past fall and continued his impressive performances at Sunday's camp, where he earned a spot among the top offensive performers, according to Scout (link below).
Rogers possesses a great frame for the quarterback position and will be able to hold plenty more weight. He can push the ball vertically and throws with impressive velocity. In game action, he does not rely on his running ability, but is dangerous when he takes off.
Stick with Scout as we continue to monitor Rogers' development and recruitment.
