Shamar McCollum was unstoppable last season for the Dillon Wildcats.
Several major college football programs have taken notice.
It will be a busy summer for McCollum and his first camp will likely be Virginia Tech.
"I'm excited about the camp," McCollum said. "I'm looking forward to interacting with the coaches and learning things that will help me become a better player. I'm also ready to compete and see the atmosphere."
He also plans to camp at Clemson.
"I like their players and how they interact with the coaches," McCollum said. "I also like the atmosphere. I'm ready to go down and compete and try to earn MVP of the camp. Hopefully, they'll start showing more interest."
McCollum finished his sophomore campaign with 80 tackles, including 38 tackles and 15 sacks, and an interception.
