Devontae Dobbs is one of the top sophomore offensive linemen in the entire country, and his offer list matches that.
He was recently offered by Alabama while on a southern visit tour which also included Auburn and Georgia. The Tigers had already offered and the Bulldogs extended an offer on the visit. Dobbs says the entire trip was "pretty good."
At Alabama, he got to spend a lot of personal time with head coach Nick Saban.
"He was real chill," Dobbs said. "We had a good conversation about the culture there."
From there, it was over to Auburn. The Tigers offered teammate Julian Barnett. He and Dobbs got to watch the Tigers in spring ball.
"It was real good. We went to the practice and it was real intense. I had been there previously for a camp," he said.
In addition to receiving an offer at Geogia, Dobbs also said he had a chance to see a lot of their program.
"That was my first time there. It was real good. They got some new facilities and I liked the coaches and the facilities they have."
Dobbs is set to attend The Opening Regional, Under Armour All-America camp and Sound Mind, Sound Body in the next few months. He has not set a college camp schedule yet.
At this point, he says no one has jumped out in front yet and there is not necessarily one school recruiting him harder than the rest.
"I think it's all evened out in my recruitment. Everybody's still on the table."
He added that he does not have any immediate visit plans for April at the moment.
