Aeneas Hawkins Enjoys PSU, Postpones Decision

A lot has transpired with four-star defensive tackle Aeneas Hawkins in the past 72 hours as the Cincinnati Moeller product continues on his recruiting journey.

Four-star defensive tackle Aeneas Hawkins has decided to postpone his original commitment date of May 10, as the Cincinnati Moeller athlete is going to slow down his recruitment.

Hawkins posted on his Twitter account that he wants to take more visits, and to allow himself more time to come to a decision. Last week, Hawkins stated he did not have an official favorite list, but six schools were standing out to him.

He listed Notre DameAlabamaClemsonPenn StateOhio State and Cincinnati. Hawkins took an unofficial visit to Penn State this past weekend, and came away impressed.

"The visit to Penn State went very well," Hawkins stated. "I spent the night with Shane Simmons and Antonio Shelton, and those are two really good guys."

"The Penn State coaching staff rolled out the red carpet in terms of showing me everything I asked to see," he added. "The entire visit was filled with positives, and they're in good shape with me."

Scout will continue to track Hawkins over the coming months, and will update his status accordingly.
