San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian defensive back D'Angelo McKenzie is closing fast on double-digit offers.
Wyoming became the eighth school to offer McKenzie, doing so earlier this week.
"All of my offers stand out to me because they're all an opportunity to play football at the next level," said McKenzie.
Mckenzie has visited a trio of in-state schools, local school San Jose State plus the two Los Angeles schools.
"UCLA was really great," said McKenzie. "I loved the campus and the facilities."
McKenzie also highlighted the Bruin coaches on his visit.
"The coaches stood out most to me," said McKenzie. "They made me feel like I was at home. I met with Coach Angus (McClure) and Coach Demetrice Martin."
McKenzie headed across town and visited USC as well.
"I really liked the visit to USC," said McKenzie. "The football facilities were amazing. I met the whole coaching staff and they really pushed for me to set up a later meeting with the DB coach, Coach (Ronnie) Bradford, to sit down with him more and talk."
McKenzie has other schools on the docket to visit.
And McKenzie thinks a few more schools could get involved with offers.
"I think Stanford, Cal, Fresno State and BYU could offer," said McKenzie.
McKenzie doesn't see any need for urgency in coming up with a decision.
"I have so much time still but I want to just carry it out until Signing Day," said McKenzie.
