Jalani Williams is a long, athletic 6-foot-2 wide receiver and safety from St. Louis who holds seven offers currently. Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Missouri, Nebraska, Memphis and Syracuse are his offers.
"My last school I visited was Iowa on the 5th, and I'm going to Nebraska's spring game on the 15th," he said.
The Hawkeyes have been hitting St. Louis hard and Williams said he had a good trip.
"It went well. I like the school. It's a very nice school with nice coaches."
Wiliams says all of his offers are on a level playing field right now as he still has plenty of time to figure out his college options. He wants to make sure he finds the right combination of football and academics.
"First off, I'm looking for a good academic program, then a good connection with the coaches and a nice school."
He is not certain which summer camps he will do in June yet, but does plan to get to a few colleges.
His only immediate plan is to see Lincoln.
"I haven't been to Nebraska. I heard it's a nice school and I have a nice connection with [director of high school relations Kenny Wilhite]. He's a good person and I've talked to him before."
