ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12 and SEC programs battling for top-ranked OG Jamaree Salyer

BUFORD, Ga. -- Five-star Atlanta (Ga.) Pace Academy offensive guard Jamaree Salyer was arguably the top performer at the The Opening Atlanta and he spoke with Scout about his recruitment.

Jamaree Salyer is taking his time with his recruitment.

However, he will make some major decisions in a few months.

"I'm going to release a top six or top seven around late May or early June," said the 6-foot-3 ½ , 327-pound Salyer. "Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State and Stanford will definitely make the list."

He gave a quick thought on each.

Georgia: "It's a great program and they do a great job recruiting," Salyer said.  "They're also going in the right direction and they have great people there."

Ohio State: "They've had so many good players through the years. They're also one of the best programs when it comes to developing guys into NFL players."

Clemson: "They've had a lot of success recently. They also say "The people make Clemson," and that's true."

Stanford: "The school sells itself. It's a great school academically and recognized by people throughout the country."

Salyer plans to commit after his season.
