Defensive end Cade Stover established himself as one of the top 2019 prospects in the Midwest last year as a sophomore, and the Lexington (OH) defensive end has the attention of college coaches.
Stover was at Ohio State this week for practice when he got some unexpected good news from Buckeye head coach Urban Meyer.
"I was there for spring practice, and after it was over we went into Coach Meyer's office, and he told me right there that I had the offer," Stover stated. "It means the world to me, honestly."
"Being an Ohio kid, what you always wait for is an offer from Ohio State," he added. "It was great to be there and see everything they have to offer."
"We toured the facilities and watched the entire practice, which was great to see," he continued. "I have to say with this offer, Ohio State is very close to the top of my list."
