23rd-ranked CB Tutt will choose between ACC, Big Ten and SEC programs

BUFORD, Ga. -- Four-star Thomson (Ga.) cornerback Christian Tutt is one of the premier defensive backs in the country and spoke with Scout at The Opening Atlanta.

Christian Tutt's lengthy scholarship list includes schools from across the country.

However, he has trimmed his list to four.

"I'm down to Florida StateAlabamaOhio State and Georgia," said the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Tutt. "I'll be committing May 30."

Tutt gave a thought on each school.

Florida State: "I have a great relationship with them and it's always been one of my dream schools," Tutt said. "I also like the way they coach their DBs and get them to the NFL."

Alabama: "They have great tradition and play for national championships, which is something I want to be a part of at the next level. They also get their guys to the NFL."

Ohio State: "Ohio State is DBU. They put defensive backs in the NFL every year and that's my ultimate goal. I also like coach (Urban) Meyer and how he stresses life after football."

Georgia: "It's also one of my dream schools and my uncle played there, so I know a lot about them. And I love the tradition and fans."

Do any schools have an advantage?

"I'm really considering all of them, but Florida State and Alabama have the edge," Tutt said. "Those two are recruiting me hardest."

"It's going to come down which coach is going to be that father figure because I'm going to be away from home, who can help me reach my goal of playing in the NFL and how my family feels about the school."
