Channing Tindall is one of the hottest prospects in the South.
LSU was the latest school to offer the Spring Valley standout.
"It's a great program and they have a dominant defense," said the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Tindall, who recently moved into the Scout 300. "The offer is important and definitely means a lot to me.
"(Defensive coordinator) coach (Dave) Aranda is the coach who offered. He told me they love my film and they really want me to come visit. I'm definitely planning to take a trip down there sometime this summer and I'm looking forward to getting to know the coaching staff."
Georgia is also showing a lot of interest.
"They offered me early, so that means a lot," Tindall said. "My father is also from Georgia and he's always been a Georgia fan. I also always liked (former linebacker) Leonard Floyd. He was one of my favorite players.
"I visited recently and was impressed with everything. They have a great football program and great academics. I spoke with (inside linebackers) coach (Glenn) Schumann the most and he has a lot of energy. He also has high expectations for his players and that's something I like a lot."
