Four-star prospect Anthony Grant has not officially narrowed his list of schools.
However, there is a group that has gotten his attention.
"The schools that are standing out are Tennessee, NC State, Georgia Tech and West Virginia," said the 5-foot-11, 184-pound Grant. "Those four will make the cut when I narrow things down, which will hopefully be by spring practice."
He gave a quick thought on each school.
Tennessee: "I like the culture they have there," Grant said. "I also like how the coaches get to know you as person, not just a football player, and they have a family atmosphere."
NC State: "I like the coaches at NC State. I have a good relationship with (running backs) coach (Desmond) Kitchings and he's really cool. I like his personality and he relates well to me."
Georgia Tech: "I like (defensive coordinator) coach (Ted) Roof. His son played on my team, so I know him really well and am comfortable around him. It's also close to home."
West Virginia: "I like the coaching staff and have a good relationship with them. I also like the way they play and the offense they run."
At the conclusion of spring practice, he hopes to make his commitment.
"The main factors are going to be education first and then the football program," Grant said.
