RB Christian Turner's long offer list includes ACC, Big Ten and SEC

BUFORD, Ga. -- Christian Turner was one of the top performers at The Opening Atlanta and spoke with Scout.

Christian Turner's strong performance at The Opening Atlanta earned him an invite to The Opening Finals.

When it comes to recruiting, Turner's scholarship offer list has grown to 25.

"There's a couple schools standing out -- TennesseeMichiganMichigan StateNotre DameNC State and Virginia Tech," said the 5-foot-10, 185-pound Turner. "I have great relationships with those coaches and really like the academics at all of them."

His most recent visit was Tennessee earlier this month.

"I liked the visit and loved the atmosphere," Turner said. "I loved the surroundings, the coaches and campus. My favorite parts were seeing the facilities and talking to the coaches.

"I spent the most time with (running backs) coach (Robert) Gillespie and we just got to know each other better. The trip definitely increased my interest in Tennessee and I'm going back for the spring game."

Besides Tennessee, Michigan will be one of his next visits.

"It will be my first time there and I'm excited about the trip," Turner said. "The education and tradition of the program really stand out to me at Michigan.

"I want to see the campus, facilities, and build a relationship with all the coaches. I've been in contact with (running backs) coach (Jay) Harbaugh and like him. He's a great coach and it's easy to talk to him."

Along with Michigan, he will visit Michigan State, Notre Dame and Wisconsin this spring.
