East's Top CB Wants To Make Penn State Visit

Maryland standout A.J. Lytton talks about his friendship with current Nittany Lion Marcus Allen, why he loves PSU's uniforms, who he hears from on the Lion staff and the other power programs that are standing out to him.

Evaluation: A.J. Lytton, the No. 24 prospect in the nation and No. 5 cornerback in the 2018 class, showcased his talent on his home field of Wise High at the Maryland Flex 7-on-7.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Lytton was remarkably quick and physical. He is smooth and gets low in his backpedal, and his footwork is clean and crisp. He runs well and he can accelerate and close space well. He has good ball skills and he is instinctive.

Even as teams tried to challenge him down the field, Lytton embraced the competition. His coverage was tight down the field, and his hands were very good at the line of scrimmage as he jammed receivers. He had a good feel in coverage when his team was zone.
