Scout delivers the latest recruiting news and notes following Under Armour's regional camp in Atlanta

Johns Creek, Ga. -- Many of the South's top football prospects participated in the Under Amour All-America regional camp at Northview High School on Sunday and Scout has the latest on their recruitment inside.

Four-star Covington (Ga.) Newton defensive tackle Darnell Jefferies is not ready to name any favorites. The nation's No. 25 prospect recently visited Georgia and will head Mississippi State on Tuesday. As for the rest of the spring, he also plans to take trips to FloridaFlorida StateLSUTennessee and back to Georgia. He hopes to make his commitment before the end of his senior season.

Scout 100 Jackson (Tenn.) North Side defensive end Greg Emerson said Tennessee and Oregon are recruiting him hardest, while Alabama, Florida State, Georgia and Ohio State are also showing heavy interest. Emerson does not have any leaders, but will narrow his list in July and make his college decision in December.

Four-star Franklin (Ga.) Heard County quarterback Emory Jones remains firmly committed to Ohio State, but will continue to take visits, including an upcoming trip to Florida State, and hopes to add an offer from the Seminoles. Jones said Florida State, Alabama and Florida are the only schools that have a shot to flip him.

Auburn and Georgia are standing out for four-star Stockbridge (Ga.) wide receiver Marquez Ezzard and both will make the cut when he narrows his list this summer. He will likely wait until after his season to make a commitment.

Georgia leads for Scout 100 Montgomery (Ala.) Lanier defensive tackle Alfred Thomas, followed Louisville and Missouri. He plans to visit Alabama and Auburn in the near future and does not have a timeline for his decision.

Mountain Brook (Ala.) running back Harold Joiner said LSU is in good shape, but he is not close to making any major decisions.

Three-star Snellville (Ga.) Brookewood offensive guard and Duke commit Casey Holman is locked in on the Blue Devils and will likely visit multiple times in the next few months.

Four-star 2019 Loganville (Ga.) Grayson outside linebacker Owen Pappoe's most recent offer came from Notre Dame a few weeks ago and he hopes to visit the Irish soon. Clemson, Georgia, Florida State and Tennessee are pursuing him most aggressively. His last visit was to Georgia earlier this week and it went well. His next stop will be Clemson on April 18.

Four-star 2019 Oxford (Ala.) center Clay Webb admitted it will be hard to for any out-of-state school pull him away from his home state, especially with offers from in-state programs Alabama and Auburn already in hand

Alabama leads for big-time 2019 Trussville (Ala.) Hewitt-Trussville offensive tackle Pierce Quick, followed closely by Auburn and Georgia. Oregon will get a visit later this spring or summer.
