South's No. 38 WR Russell Brown Eyes Two Visit Destinations

BRADENTON, Fla. -- A half-dozen offers are on the table for Scout's 38th-ranked wide receiver in the South, Russell Brown.

Roughly a month removed from earning an offer from Oregon, Russell Brown is an intriguing prospect who is now labeled as the 38th-ranked wide receiver in the South.

With a handful of additional offers to select from, including one from South Carolina, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound Brown possesses a well-rounded skill set with his ability to do a little bit of everything on the perimeter.

Brown flashes the acceleration to get behind defenses, but also does a nice job of creating separation underneath and operating after the catch. He is also a willing blocker who locks onto his opponent until the whistle is blown. Brown utilizes his frame by breaking through arm tackles and pumping his legs through contact, so the effort is always there.

Brown opens up about his offers from the Gamecocks and Ducks, visit plans over the offseason, and more in the video at the top of the page.
