Bryan Addison is playing at a high level this Spring and is among the most gifted athletes in the region.
You talk to any professional athlete, regardless of sport, or sports psychologist and they'll all say confidence is one of, if not the biggest keys to high level success. You can't play and succeed without it and Addison told us over the weekend it's a big reason why his game has risen to another level.
There was never a question about his talent and athleticism. At 6-4, 175 pounds, Addison is a tall, rangy safety who covers a ton of ground, has great ball skills and is extremely fluid. The game just looks easy for him and he has been as impressive as any defensive back we've seen this this off-season.
The big key for Addison will be carrying that momentum over in to the fall when the pads come on. It's one thing to dominate in 7v7 play, it's another to show physicality, toughness and the ability to hit and that's what we're excited to see from Addison this fall.
On the recruiting front, Addison said he's open to everyone but mentioned five schools he's talking with the most. He'll visit Nebraska for the Huskers Spring Game, will take in a USC practice later this week and plans to visit UCLA unofficially later this Spring as well. Oklahoma and Oregon are both looking good for official trips in the fall. If they offer, Notre Dame and Washington will get visits as well.
