Dublin Coffman turns out Division-I football players annually in Ohio, and this year will be no exception. Linebacker Jeslord Boateng has already recruiting radar.
Boateng holds ten offers at this time and he is looking to add more to his total. He visited Ohio State recently, and although the Buckeyes did not offer he remains on their board.
"The visit to Ohio State was great, and I loved the way their practice was so high energy," Boateng stated. "That's what I expected from an elite program like they have."
"I didn't get to talk to the coaches after practice, but I've been talking to them," he added. "They have told me they love the way I play, and how hard I play on the field. I might go to camp there this summer."
Of the schools that have offered Boateng, there are several that have caught his eye at this point in time. He has taken a few unofficial visits, and more are planned.
"I would say the schools sticking out to me right now would be Louisville, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Indiana and Kentucky," he explained. "What I like about each school is they all have great coaches to look up to."
"These coaches also expect high effort from all their players," he continued. "The next school I want to visit is Michigan State, but I'm not sure when that will be."
"I want to make my decision before my senior season starts," Boateng said.
