Kingston Harris is still going through the feeling-out process, but the three-star prospect has a good idea of when he wants to trim his list by releasing top schools.
"No, I don't have a top school right now," Harris said. "I'm just waiting until after spring before I have any top schools."
The Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy standout journeyed up to the Volunteers' campus back on March 3, and says Butch Jones' staff pushed all the right buttons and made a significant impression.
"I liked everything about them," Harris said. "The facilities were some of the best I've seen so far, and the coaches are really cool there.
"That was one of my favorite schools I've been to so far. They showed a lot of love."
Harris has not been in much contact with Michigan State as of late, but is not ready to place them on the back burner with National Signing Day still roughly 10 months down the road.
"I don't really talk to (Michigan State) as much as I used to, but they are still a school that I would consider," Harris said. "I still like the coaches there."
That is not the case with coach Chris Ash and the Scarlet Knights, who are turning up the heat with the spring evaluation period in full swing.
"I'm starting to talk to them again," Harris said. "They were showing me a lot of love during the season. I like the coaching staff there at Rutgers, and how they show a lot of love."
Harris has no visits planned at this time.
