South's No. 46 WR Wooby Theork Is Carefully Sorting Through His Options

One visit is locked in on the calendar for the 46th-ranked receiver out of the South, Wooby Theork.

Wooby Theork is in the midst of navigating through the pros and cons of each suitor, explaining why he is in no hurry to name a leader in his recruitment.

Theork, a game-breaker out of Naples (Fla.) High who checks in as the 46th-ranked receiver in the South, boasts an offer sheet featuring Iowa StateArizonaPurdueRutgers and Boston College among others.

"There are several important items when narrowing down my final list," Theork said. "First off, a good academic school. It's also important for me to be a part of a program that has a strong football tradition; to be a part of a team that is a good fit.

"Also, a school that I can develop and make an impact at. As far as a list of top schools are concerned, it's too early for me in the recruiting process to have anything narrowed down."

Coach Rich Rodriquez and the Wildcats covet top-notch speed out of the Sunshine State, and the 5-foot-10, 163-pound Theork provides just that.

"Arizona is a great school," Theork said. "Arizona is in a great location; I like how warm it is over there. It must be a great academic school. I did like how one of the coaches said there's a Popeyes right around the corner from Arizona."

Coach Chris Ash and Rutgers are constant shoppers in the state of Florida, and present Theork with another opportunity to showcase his skill set on the Power Five level.

"Rutgers seems like a great school and they are part of the Big Ten," Theork said. "Rutgers is making (a run at) a lot of Florida kids. It's an up-and-coming school that could be on the rise."

Theork, who is also labeled as the 18th-ranked receiver in Florida, has one visit penciled in for the month of April.

"Only school right now is USF on the 15th," Theork said.
