Las Vegas (Nev.) Arbor View defensive end Elijah Wade is the top defensive end out West in the 2018 class.
The four-star has 18 offers but said it's too early to start naming leaders.
"Every offer stands out to me, it's all a blessing to me," said Wade. "I don't have a top five yet but I do plan on trimming my list at some point."
Wade said some of the schools he's built relationships with have been because of the coaches.
"Some of the coaches that I have built the best relationships with would be Coach (Corey) Edsall at Connecticut, Coach (Trent) Bray at Nebraska, Coach (Joe) Salave'a at Oregon and Coach (Angus) McClure from UCLA," said Wade.
Wade's teammate and close friend, Greg Rogers, signed with UCLA in February and Wade said the Under Armour All-American is making his pitch for the Bruins.
"Oh yeah, Greg is recruiting me to UCLA heavily," said Wade.
Wade said he's hoping to get out to Los Angeles soon.
"If I'm able to sometime this spring or summer, I'll get out there," said Wade. "I have not had the chance to go check out any schools yet but I do plan on making that happen sometime soon."
The 6-5, 240-pounder hasn't done any camps yet but plans to next month.
"I should be attending the The Opening Regionals in Oakland," said Wade.
With no top five, and no immediate plans to trim his list, Wade doesn't appear to be in a hurry to shut down his recruitment.
"I don't have a time frame on making a decision," said Wade. "But I do want to go on my official visits before I make a decision."
