Ranked as the number-15 runningback in America, Dayton (OH) Dunbar's Tavion Thomas is a wanted man in recruiting circles. He holds offers from nearly every top program in America, and the four-star claims he has no favorite list.
Thomas landed an Ohio State offer in February while on a visit, and he made a return trip to Columbus a few weeks ago to meet with the coaching staff.
This Saturday, Thomas will be back at Ohio State a third time for the Buckeye spring game.
"When I was there for practice a week ago, I really had a lot of fun," Thomas stated. "I spent a lot of time with Coach (Urban) Meyer and Coach Tony (Alford), and they are both great guys."
"It feels great to have so many great schools wanting me, and I never thought I would ever be in this situation," he added. "I want to take official visits this fall, because I want to see who really wants me the most."
"I don't want to rush into any commitment, and my coach is working with me to help me through the process," he continued. "I did cut my list to 12, and I will cut it down to five next month."
Even though no official visits are planned at this time, Thomas has an idea of what schools he's interested in seeing next fall.
"I think when it comes to choosing a school it's going to be tough, and I'm not sure what will make one stand out over the others," he concluded.
