Travon Walker's stock continues to rise.
Multiple major college programs are pursuing him.
"Right now, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina are recruiting me hardest," said the 6-foot-4 ½, 255-pound Walker. "It means a lot that they're showing so much interest, but I'm taking my time with the process."
He gave a quick thought on each.
Georgia: "I really like the coaching staff," Walker said. "I've got a great relationship with them. I talk to coach (Kirby) Smart and (defensive line) coach (Trey) Scott a lot and they make me feel like I'm a priority."
Alabama: "I like there physical style of play and the atmosphere. I also like (defensive backs) coach (Derrick) Ansley. He's expects a lot from his players and helps them get better."
South Carolina: "I feel like they're on the rise and they have a lot of enthusiasm. All the coaches stay in contact, but I talk to (linebackers) coach (Coleman) Hutzler the most, and he's told me I'm a top target."
What is next for Walker?
"I'll probably head to LSU soon," Walker said. "It will be my first time there, so I want to just see what it's like. I want to see if I fit in and if I could have a chance to compete for early playing time."
He also plans to visit Clemson in the near future.
