Antoine Green, who tested exceptionally well at The Opening Orlando Regional, says a Pac-12 school is holding down the top spot in his recruitment.
A product of Rockledge (Fla.) High who holds double-digit offers, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Green is a three-star prospect and Scout's 51st-ranked receiver in the talent-loaded South.
"Oregon (leads), and the reason is because I have already built up a relationship with the coaches, especially (wide receivers) coach (Michael) Johnson," Green said.
"I talk to him almost every single day, and I'm comfortable talking to him about anything on the phone. Oregon is a great school and they have a great football program."
Coach Willie Taggart and the Oregon staff have laid everything out in regards to their university and potential plans for Green, who holds additional offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest and Purdue among others.
"(Coach Johnson told me) pretty much everything I need to know, and I have done some research myself," Green said. "Coach Johnson sent me a quote that says, 'Today I will do what others won't so tomorrow I can do what others can't.'
"It inspired me to grind day in and day out."
Green, who is also tagged as the 22nd-ranked receiver in Florida, recently made the trek over to Tampa Bay to chop it up with coach Charlie Strong and in-state South Florida.
"The USF visit was great," Green said. "I got to meet coach Charlie Strong and all the other coaches. They made me feel comfortable and their coaching style is turnt up, and I love that about USF."
Green has no additional visits scheduled at this time.
