Menifee (Calif.) Paloma Valley safety Phillip Mills has seven offers and got to check out two of the schools who offered him this past wee.
The three-star visited Washington State on Tuesday.
"Washington State was great," said Mills. "The campus amazed me. And the facilities were great."
Over the weekend, he visited Boise State.
"It was great at Boise," said Mills. "I really liked it."
Those two schools are in a good spot for Mills.
"Right now, I really like Boise State and Washington State," said Mills. "But I'm going to consider every school until the end."
Broncos defensive coordinator Andy Avalos is running point on Mills' recruitment while Cougs linebacker coach Ken Wilson is recruiting him to Washington State.
Prior to his visits to Boise State and Washington State, Mills had also visited San Diego State, UCLA and USC. He'll visit another in-state school, Fresno State, on April 29th.
"Some of the other schools recruiting me are UCLA, USC, Fresno State, Oregon State and Duke," said Mills.
Mills wants to camp at Stanford and plans to take in a few more college camps in the summer.
The 6-3, 220-pounder said he's hearing a couple positions could be in his future.
"Most schools are recruiting me as a box safety or as an outside linebacker," said Mills.
