Elk Grove (Calif.) Cosumnes Oaks defensive back Kahlef Hailassie has seven offers at the midway point of April.
“I have offers from UNLV, Wyoming, Nevada, Fresno State, Hawaii, San Jose State and Howard,” said Hailassie.
And one school is standing out.
“I’d say that UNLV is standing out to me,” said Hailassie.
A number of schools have expressed interest in the three-star and are expected to see him during the eval period.
“Some of the schools that have shown interest are Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, Washington, Baylor, Iowa State, Boise State, San Diego State, Washington State, Colorado State and Colorado,” said Hailassie.
The 6-2, 185-pound two-way prospect has interest on both sides of the ball.
“Most schools are recruiting me for both receiver and safety,” said Hailassie.
And he’s wide open at this point.
“I do not have a top five currently,” said Hailassie.
Hailassie will be at The Opening Oakland next month and will continue to play 7on7 with TMP Elite.
