Covina (Calif.) Northview quarterback Steven Comstock is one of the more athletic signal-callers in the Southland.
The three-star has four offers already and figures to throw for several more during the spring.
“I have four offers, from Oregon State, Idaho, Eastern Washington and Azusa Pacific,” said Comstock. “They all stand out to me too. I’m thankful for every opportunity that these coaches give me.”
Comstock has checked out Oregon State unofficially and hopes to see more schools as the eval period shakes out.
Several schools have indicated to him that they’ll be by to watch him throw.
“Illinois, Boise State, San Jose State, Yale, Harvard and UC Davis will,” said Comstock.
Comstock grew up watching Boise Sate and UCLA and said he hopes to camp with both and a few others.
He also visited Boise State this week and said he had a good trip to Boise.
“Some of the colleges that have shown interest, I’ll go to their camps too,” said Comstock.
The 6-1, 185-pounder, who is also an accomplished wrestler, said all of his recruiting attention is coming as a quarterback.
